COVID-19 Admission Adjustments

How are you adjusting your admission process? All of our policies and protocols start with the overarching goal of having your children in EMS classrooms taught by EMS teachers. We continue to deliver a full academic schedule to our students and provide EMS experiences before and after classes, which greatly contribute to our curriculum.

We have a fierce belief that our committed community, deep experience as educators, and the sheer size and expansiveness of our campus have helped us develop a pandemic response that is unparalleled. Our response continues to evolve as we learn more about COVID-19.

Are you conducting tours/open houses? Tours will be conducted on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays by appointment. Both virtual and in-person tours are available.

Are both parents expected to attend tours/presentations? no

What is expected of families? We are currently doing virtual visits and encourage grownups to allow children to be their authentic selves in a low-stress and comfortable environment. Having a favorite stuffy close can help little ones feel a sense of safety while meeting with our Division Head and Admission Director. For older children, selecting a piece of work to share (writing, art, or other) which they have proudly worked on, may help to decrease feelings of worry or anxiety.
