Founded in 1907 and consistently recognized as one of New York's outstanding schools, Riverdale is a global leader in Pre-K through Grade 12 education. Our mission is to empower lifelong learners by developing minds, building character, and creating community in order to change our world for the good.

Often described as high challenge/high support, we create a culture of great critical thinking, academic excellence, curiosity, open discourse, and innovation. We offer extensive opportunities for research, interdisciplinary learning, travel/field trips, athletics, clubs, and activities.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) is the foundational core of the anti-racist, anti-bias, and transformational work that Riverdale is doing to help our school community members feel seen, heard, and valued.
